Key Product Facts

01

10-in-1 Detection

Detects ten respiratory pathogens in one professional-use rapid test, supporting broader differential screening when symptoms overlap.

02

Professional Use

Designed for trained users in clinics, hospitals, healthcare facilities, occupational health and institutional screening environments.

03

Fast Results

Rapid antigen workflow with results within approximately 15 minutes, supporting faster near-patient screening decisions.

04

Flexible Format

Available in one-well and three-well design options, depending on whether simplicity or clearer pathogen-group differentiation is preferred.

What pathogens does MAK-10 detect?

MAK-10 covers a broad respiratory panel including viral and bacterial respiratory pathogens commonly considered in professional differential screening.

SARS-CoV-2

COVID-19 remains relevant in respiratory screening, especially during seasonal waves, workplace outbreaks, travel-related exposure and vulnerable population management.

Influenza A

A major seasonal respiratory virus often associated with stronger symptom burden, fever, cough and body aches. Early differentiation can support timely clinical decisions.

Influenza B

Another important influenza virus included in broader respiratory screening, especially during flu seasons and mixed respiratory outbreaks.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)

Rapid detection of RSV, relevant for children, older adults and vulnerable groups where respiratory infections may require closer attention.

Adenovirus (ADV)

Screens for common adenovirus respiratory infections that often mimic influenza or bacterial infections, supporting better clinical differentiation and treatment.

HPIV2

Human Parainfluenza Virus Type 2 is included in MAK-10 for professional respiratory screening where broader viral differentiation is required.

HPIV1/3

Human Parainfluenza Virus Types 1 and 3 are covered as part of the MAK-10 extended respiratory panel, supporting wider screening beyond COVID-19, flu and RSV.

Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP)

A bacterial respiratory pathogen associated with atypical respiratory infections. Its inclusion supports broader professional screening where persistent or lower respiratory symptoms are clinically relevant.

Streptococcus pneumoniae (SP)

A clinically relevant bacterial respiratory pathogen included for extended professional respiratory screening and institutional use cases.

hMPV

Human Metapneumovirus is covered by MAK-6 and MAK-10 and is relevant in broader professional respiratory screening, especially where COVID, flu and RSV alone do not explain symptoms.

One-Well or Three-Well Format Options

MAK-10 is available in a one-well design for maximum ease of use. The prepared sample is applied once and distributed across the test card for broad respiratory screening across ten target pathogens. This supports faster handling and a simpler workflow.
A three-well format is also available where clearer visual differentiation between pathogen groups is preferred. This can be useful for professional users who prioritize structured result interpretation over maximum handling simplicity.
Flexible format: one-well design for simplicity, or three-well format for easier pathogen-group differentiation.

MAK-10 Technical Information

Regulatory note: MAK-10 is positioned for professional use only and is not presented as a consumer self-test. Market access, sales channels and product claims depend on local registration requirements.

Occupational Health

Relevant for professional respiratory screening programs, seasonal preparedness and workplace health initiatives.

Institutional Screening

Suitable for healthcare facilities, elderly care, schools, camps, travel medicine and other environments where respiratory infections can spread quickly.

Research & Clinical Studies

Multipathogen testing can support epidemiological research and clinical studies by helping capture the spread of respiratory pathogens in defined populations.

Distributor & B2B Channels
